NIMO PIO's have committed to engage stakeholders and the public through the use of Social Media during the 2010 fire season. In order to gain a better understanding of the social media tools available, NIMO has developed a Social Media for Incidents manual and guidelines for its' own use. An information sharing session reviewing the manual was held in Tucson, February 24 & 25, 2010.
