Free Savchenko Campaign: Social media appeal for release of Ukraine pilot held in Moscow
An international media campaign, a so-called Twitter storm, is underway for the release Nadia Savchenko, a Ukrainian fighter pilot, from detention in Russia. The 33-year-old pilot started a hunger strike more than 43-days ago. Savchenko has vowed to die in prison if she is not released by Russian authorities.

More evidence of Russian soldiers operating in Ukraine. Photos have emerged on social media of a Russian soldier who posted photos of himself and fellow troops on aparent active service deep in Ukrainian territory.
The photos were posted to the Russian social media page of the soldier, whose name is Temur Isakov. One photo, posted on September 2, shows him and other soldiers posing in front of a sign near the village of Chervonosilske, nearly 30 kilometres inside Ukraine....

Facebook Restores Missing Russian Soldiers Page: Social network removed page following complaints
The page called “Cargo 200 from Ukraine to Russia” is meant to counter Kremlin's claims that no Russian troops have been sent across the border to support the insurgency in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Cargo 200 is the term used to identify those killed in battle while their bodies are transported back home.
