Social media PhD candidate awarded Fulbright
A Māori PhD candidate will soon be flying off to the US after being awarded the Fulbright-Harkness NZ Fellowship for 2013. Acushla Dee O'Carroll of Ngaruahine, Ngāti Ruanui and Te Atiawa is the recipient of the prestigious scholarship with her thesis on how indigenous communities use social networking sites.
