The Term Social Media Expert Overused & Over-Vilified
My opinion in short: The phrase social media expert has been way overused and at the same time grossly over-vilified.
Long, un-rehearsed, and grumpy response to something I think is barely worth the time it took to record it. Oh and no I don't refer to myself as a "SME".
Please at least watch the video and read some of the post before responding. I'll gleefully nuke any comments that I deem are nothing more than garbage.

Arcades offered more social interaction than any social network ever will
Some people seem to think Tweeting or posting to Facebook is a social activity. Nope! Invite your friends over for a game night or go to an arcade or Barcade. Play, shout, interact! That - is social!
Hanging out with your friends should not involve logging into a chat room. Social media is a valuable tool, but the term "social" is becoming misleading. Face-to-face interactions are social! Log off and go have some fun.
