University of Minnesota researcher Christine Greenhow breaks down how her research has found that social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace can have an impact for learning and educational growth for high school students. ComScore report shows Israel leads in average social network usage per month
US-based research firm comScore has announced that Israel is the world leader in monthly social network usage, with Israeli users spending twice as long chatting and posting than the global average.
According to the report by comScore, data collected during October shows that Israelis spent an average of 11.1 hours using social networks, more than double the world average of 5.7 hours. This is well ahead of countries like the U.K. and the United States, who spend 7 hours on average.
