President Museveni was on May 12, 2016 sworn in as the elected president of the republic of Uganda up to 2021. Throughout the electoral process, he experienced a lot of opposition especially on social media sites like twitter and facebook. On February 18, on the eve of voting, social media was shut down for "security reasons"
