Merging Space Science and Social Media via Quillt.com -- "Grasshopper" Illangkoon, PhD
My idea is to use a new social media platform called www.quillt.com (that's quillt with 2 L's). In this space we can engage the public by interacting with astronauts in space as they perform their duties and allow comments and questions. This promotes an intimate involvement and excitement about space and science by interacting with operations as they happen in orbit.
